Fort Collins Outreach Meeting & Training
Housing Colorado is pleased to once again host our Annual Statewide Outreach Meetings & Training in partnership with the Colorado Division of Housing. This summer, we will meet with local affordable housing professionals throughout the state to learn more about your region’s issues, challenges and opportunities. In addition, Housing Colorado has partnered with the Division of Housing, who will be offering an update on regulations governing residential structures.

Agenda:
10:00 AM-12:00 PM During the Housing Colorado outreach portion of the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to: network with affordable housing peers in the region; hear more about legislative updates and Housing Colorado’s strategic priorities this year; hear from DOH regional reps about new and existing programs; and provide input for planning education programs and resources.
12:00 PM to 12:30 PM Lunch will be provided
12:30 PM to 3:00 PM As new construction technologies emerge and state and federal policies are amended, many Colorado communities are eager to learn what role manufactured and micro-housing can play in their efforts to address affordable housing challenges. Join staff from the Colorado Division of Housing’s (DOH) Building Codes and Standards Section for updates on regulations governing residential structures and a discussion of the role that factory built homes and micro-housing can play in developing and preserving affordable housing.
