Please join us at the offices of Faegre Baker Daniels for a discussion on how to communicate an effective affordable housing message. We are called on to promote and defend affordable housing projects, but often audiences are guided by reluctance, NIMBYism, and fear. How can Housers talk about housing in a way that generates support and wins friends? What messages are resonating at city council meetings, county commissioner hearings and neighborhood engagements? What stories resonate with wide audiences? This forum will provide communications strategy and examples of successful project messaging. Bring your questions and your appetite. Breakfast will be provided.
Agenda: 8:30 - 9:00 Breakfast and Registration
9:00 - 12:00 Panel Discussion
Price: $45 members / $65 non-members
