About The Summit:

The Summit at Eaton Senior Communities opened in September 2019 as a unique solution to addressing the forgotten middle for older adults. Eaton Senior Communities is a locally-owned and operated non-profit senior living provider with 40 years of experience. The new community is located 1 mile from Belmar Shopping District and is centrally located to the Denver-Metro Area. The 64 studio and one-bedroom apartments range from 350-620 square feet. The apartments have large windows with scenic views of the mountains and Downtown Denver. The development offers a service-rich environment including: life enrichment services, social activities, service coordination, wellness services and mission & ministry services. In addition, housekeeping, laundry and dining services are also available on-site for a fee. On-campus amenities include outdoor gardening, fenced dog run, fitness center, on-site physical and occupational therapy and an on-site chapel.

To address the under-served forgotten middle, the community has both project-based voucher apartments as well as affordable market-rate apartments. The community was developed in a former Assisted Living building with conventional financing. Of the 64 units, 23 are eligible for the project-based voucher subsidy or an individual/portable voucher subsidy. The remaining units serve older adults between 80-120% AMI. Eaton Senior Communities self-imposed an income restriction of 120% AMI to ensure that the apartments are serving older adults in need.
