Tackling the Digital Divide in Urban and Rural Colorado

Join Housing Colorado for this thought-provoking webinar in September.

With the divide in digital infrastructure growing, the affordable housing industry needs to consider how we are serving populations who have little or no access to internet or computer. The webinar will provide two exemplary those efforts in urban and rural Colorado. Jade Communications will present a rural case study on how a local broadband company is tackling the digital divide issue in San Luis Valley by assisting half a dozen school districts in low-income communities. Denver Housing Authority will present an urban case study on some of their pioneering public and private partnerships and go over the three-legged stool of connecting residents to low-cost internet service providers, providing low-cost or free computers/tablets, and facilitating a robust variety of training classes.

Speakers:

  • Josh Wehe, Jade Communications
  • Jesse Burne, Denver Housing Authority
  • Ryan Kim, ProLink Solutions
  • Sebastian Dawiskiba, HUD

Price: $15 members / $30 non-members
