Young Professionals 'Ask an Expert' – Members & Non-Members Welcome

Please join the Housing Colorado Young Professional Committee for a thought-provoking discussion with Renee Martinez-Stone, winner of the 2021 Eagle Award in the people category. Bring your questions and concerns to this small group discussion.

This event is for members/non-members who are young professionals, emerging leaders, and those who are new to the affordable housing industry.

Join your peers at Buckhorn Exchange after the event if you want to continue the discussion. (NOTE: the after-event is not sponsored by Housing Colorado)

Parking and Transit: Parking is available at the DHA garage for the cost of $1 an hour. There is also street parking available. The use of public transportation is recommended, as DHA is located right by the 10th and Osage stop (C, D, E, F, and H Lines).

Renee Martinez-Stone

Renee Martinez-Stone directs the West Denver Renaissance Collaborative where she leads custom solutions aimed at minimizing resident and business displacement. For 25 years, Renee has provided leadership in redevelopment, transit-oriented development, and affordable housing projects through planning, design, and community centered engagement. She launched a community leaders program, training residents to understand development, land use, and zoning in order to better advocate for themselves and their communities. Renee has made a world of difference in the communities she serves. Recent notable projects include the 2010 Revitalization Strategy for the Welton Corridor, Mariposa & Westridge master planning, and advancing affordable ADUs with the West Denver ADU Pilot Program.
