Each year, HUD funds are invested into communities across the country to build and rehabilitate housing, improve infrastructure and help families achieve stability and advancement. To further enhance the impact of HUD funding, a federal rule called Section 3 is aimed at helping promote training, employment, contracting, and other economic opportunities to low- and very low-income persons and businesses.
